Can Google act as Cupid? - What do you think and would it be safe?

GOOGLE - THE FINDER OF LOVE???

Imagine this - Google uses its massive indexing and query power to act as a way of finding your one true heart

All you need do is go to google/cupid.com and place on the website your details.

Naturally there would have to be some type of vetting procedure but to all intense and purposes once you are listed you are open to the power of Google.

The Google indexing system can sift through the many various strands and with their highly sophisticated algorithm, whittle the list down to a few contenders.

The questions are:

a) Is it a good idea?

a) Is it workable?

c) Is it safe?

I would be very interested to know your views and as such come to understand the question of where and how will Google be used in our lives over the next 3 - 5 years.

Lets face it - Google will probably only get bigger (or will it????)

I remember once going on e Harmony and the stupid search told me, Sorry, there is nobody that you match.

Do I look like a three-footed alien?!!!

No more of those online matches for me, I'll dwell in my humble abode and adopt a starving Chinese kid when I finish med school that I can take to watch b-ball games. Ha ha!

Google may have a sophisticated system for finding and ranking content on the web, but i don't think their exisiting algorithm is suitable to find matches for users.
