You might want to start a thread about that in the Coding Forum.

I agree with Manish and John... content is king when it comes to marketing on the net. People come here for information and that's what we need to give them.

Personally I have RSS feeds on some of my sites.. just testing to see the difference. I have noticed those sites getting higher rankings, but I think the key is fresh relevant content. My blogs always rate higher than my websites with out RSS feeds.

How important is using CSS layouts? I understand that you can get the body text higher up in your html and that the spiders love that.
But, I have about 350 pages to modify. So its a nightmare task. Is it going to reap the rewards? Any experiences on this subject?

You are talking about on-page SEO there, and it's not all that important. Instead of spending time fine-tuning your pages, I'd recommend getting inbound links with your keywords in the anchor text.

JohnScott,
LOL, I was at the SE Strategies Conference in London in June, trying to learn something. Every stand stated "You must get a CSS layout, You must get a CSS layout, so your body text appears early in the script".
Perhaps it was because my site has too many tables and my HTML is too heavy. But the stated this whether they looked at my site or not.
I guess they were just looking to make some $fees? Is this subject worth its own thread?

Have you ever read the book "The Purple Cow" by Seith Godin? In that book they talk about Remarkable Marketing... it's the art of building things worth noticing right into your product or service. Not just slapping on the marketing as a last- minute add-on, but understanding that if your offering itself isn't remarkable it's invisible... Well that is the last thing we want to be on the net is invisible!!!
I do some advanced trainings on this very subject you are welcome to join in on some of my training sessions any time. Here is my event schedule that I update weekly. http://events.barefootsuccess.net

Thank you so much, John.
You've told us about "On-page SEO". Would you like to tell us about "Off-page SEO", please....? Because someone said that "Off-page SEO" is more powerful to get traffic into our websites.
All the best,

Off page is pretty simple - it's just a matter of getting quality inbound links to your webpages with keywords in the anchor text.

A great place to get quality inbound links...
A great place to get quality inbound links to your website is to sign up for your own <Affiliate Link Removed by Admin> .As a FREE silver member you have access to 20 traffic portals that all have the ability to put 5 links on each portal. You also have the ability to use what ever anchor text you wish.
There are lots more benefits to Veretekk but the linking posibilities is just one of them. I know it sure has worked for me...

Thanks John. But I "heard" there is a new strategy to get more traffic. It's called "TAG and PING" stragegy. It has correlation with "Social Bookmarking". What do you think about this?
Regards,

Tag and ping is just another form of spamming, and it's not SEO.
