Does Page Segmentation has any relevance with SEO???

Page Segmentation is relivant mostly if you believe in PR as part of your marketing plan.

The theory being that the engines will give more weight to blocks (locations) where advertising is not normally displayed.

So the "Theory" says that where you place the link on the page is important.

OH No - Link farmers are scambling. If Google can ever get PR to work again they may give it more weight IF they can make algorithmic improvements to improve search relevance and neutralize the spammier link building methods

But PR will be short lived if they bring it back. Links farmers are making money and that's a lot of incentive to keep trying to beat Google and keep the scam going.
