sb site drives more traffic, but in terms of backlinks forum sig is much better(just a thought)...

For traffic, social bookmarkings. For backlinks, forum signature.

Although I got traffic in forum signature but it's more traffic coming from social bookmarkings. If we are talking about the number of backlinks, it's the forum signature that gives my site more backlinks. Some of social bookmarking sites now are nofollow.
