Can your Overall Site Aid in KW Optimization?
Something just came to mind when I was reading about KW's. On an individual page basis, we know that (only considering on site SEO) the KWs in important parts of your page (header, title, etc.) aid in improving your keyword optimization.
My question is, can your site overall, help you optimize for keywords and improve for SERPs? For example, considering pages are linked appropriately as they should be, would it make a difference whether you optimize for keyword "A" on page "A" or you optimize for keyword "A" on page "A" as well as page "B", "C", etc. I guess my point is, just like link juice and PR juice are passed on from page to page, can the same keyword on several pages help improve the standing on a single page? Does that make sense? |
