If you optimized properly in the first place there is no need to de-optimize. Just don't over-do anything and build you site for your readers and not the search engines, write good content and work on getting good backlinks and you will have success.

Thank you for sharing that informative article. De-optimization is needed for the site as to provide the best search result for the site and to maintain high rankings.

Deoptimization is only needed when a web master has over done it. So every site doesn't need to do it. If you are reading the content and it sounds stupid because there are way to many key words, then re-write it to make it sound more natural. If it is well written more people will read it and link to it and then your site will rank better. So....you "deoptimize" not for the search engines, you do it for your readers.
