Are blog comments good for backlinks?
I have heard that they are mostly nofollow links. Is blog commenting still a good way to get backlinks?

yes if it uses no follow attribute and you commented on a related blog so it can consider as a quality backlink

Blog comments are good sources of backlinks, provided that your comments are related to the theme of the blog.. Just also be sure that the blog must have "do follow" link before you make some comments for you to have a link pointing to your site....

You can get a list of dofollow blogs to comment on...just do a google search. It'll turn up some search engines and directories for dofollow.

There is also a community of dofollow blogs at bumpzee.com.

Blog commenting is consider as backlinks....Especially if it's a follow link surely it will be a good backlinks... As what ceejay said...

Yes they are, those with do follow links are the ones much weighted...
But as for other factors is concerned I'll "take" those with no_follow links especially if the article is worth commenting...

Nope I'm afraid your wasting your time on that...

You need to submit to directories, buy links, create valueable content, and etc.

Just bear in mind that if there are loads of comments, the links are watered down anyway. But I agree, it can be a good source of relevant links if you do it right.

I think commenting on a blog is another natural way of link building. If you can find blogs that are DOFOLLOW and there are posts that are PR5+...you've got a jackpot

yes! for sure comments brings sound trafic..but i depends, the higer is the PR or blog the more is the fruit
