It has the potential to show up and here is why...

Having the keywords in the domain means that most likely a large percentage of your inbound links are going to have the keywords in the anchor text. Also your site content will naturally contain those keywords.

It will help you score higher rankings for green apples

Since you have your targeted keyword in the domain, it will help you score higher rankings

If he's talking about meta description, I'm afraid he's sorely mistake. Meta tags are all but ignored nowadays by the spiders. As others have mentioned, link building is king these days.

With google and msn perhaps, but not with yahoo
