Google Dance on phrase Website Design - has anyone else been affected?

Hi Guys,

Google have done another dance under the phrase 'website design' that has put us back to number 5 on page 1 with competition such as webcouk.co.uk stepping up a gear and cementing that number 3 spot (well done webcouk).

Do you think this is just Google floating around or has there been a major change.

Either way we are stepping up another 2 gears as you can't keep a hungry company down but any advice is always appreciated.

Google - love em or hate em we need em :-)

Please send us your feedback if you have also been affected this weekend.

Good for you.

However SERPs take time.

It might take quite time for your site's SERPs more stable.

Not really mate - we have slipped from number 2 to number 5 but you are right that the SERPs take time.

At least we have the advantage of other outside factors but even these are becoming reduced with time.

Lets hope our secret weapon works!

That's only because we all give into the "I need to be listed on Google to be a success" mentality.

I think i've read somewhere that google was restructering its algorithms again to make the market more "fair and competitive".

I'll have to dig around and see if I can find the article I was reading because it was pretty interesting.
