Checking link popularity
Any tips on checking link popularity? Can I just go to the various engines and type link:http://www.website.com?

Does this work in most major engines?

I am starting some aggressive link building campaigns and I want to be able to get a baseline and then track impact of the various phases.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

The Link command by Google does not show much info & they tend to keep back a few from showing. I like Yahoo explore as it shows all sites even those using nofollow.

It can track your backlinks on Goolgle, Yahoo, MSN and Altavista...

There are some very cool tools on this iwebtool site that Shawn at ForumSeed was kind enough to post HERE. I played around with it a bit, like the Google page rank predictor! They have a Link Popularity tool as you can see ....

Well its show how reliable submitexpress here., there was a lot user of it., but anyone could suggest some P.checker which is reliable as submitexpress.

I dont think one can be as reliable as submit express, from seeing this thread its about 90 to 10% to submitexpress
