Different types of websites require different types of bounce rates. I run an ecommerce website and I do have a landing page. My goal is to get them to the purchase page. If my landing pages are having problems with high bounce rates that is a problem. However, I expect a higher bounce rate on my purchase page because naturally people are curious about the price, and even a 5% conversion rating would be good in my opinion.
