my main website have bounce rate of 83 percent but i love it..

I usually got a higher bounce rate before but now i manage to have 30-50% of it since i started to control everything in my optimization for i need to make sure that i was doing in moderately.

Most of my visits to Wikipedia are single page visits. Wikipedia could have a high bounce rate, but that doesn't mean there is anything worrying about the site.

I hear the way to reduce it is to:
1- look at the search terms that have the highest rate of bounce
2- decide wether you want people searching for these terms to find your site.
2A-If you don't, manipulate your on SEO efforts to pursue these words less.
2B- If you do want these visitors than tweak your content so that it provides more information and add a link to another page with more about that subject.

I have a bounce rate of 14 to 22% but my site has a forum on it and a lot of people click on way more than one page. Time on site is 12+ minutes... so they had better click on more than one page in that time!

It's high because I run blog with diverse subjects or niched posts.
