Site Stats Analytics

Is there a good source for free site stats. Something with more than just basic information and if so where may I be able to find it. Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by "basic stats", but Google Analytics works well for me.

Arturo is right. I also used that tools and it's a great tool for tracking your traffic. It also provides some information regarding your site statistics.

Ask your ISP to give you ftp access to your logs - then use a good stat program like surfstats - let the kiddies play with the freebies like google.

you want to know what's going on to beat the competition and increase conversion not play with freebies

kick the guys butts that say "works for me" don't join them. It's about getting a leg up on everyone else.

not 404's - 500's

give you an example - I increased leads by 160+ a month by screaming at the IT department of one company (not much but then when the other factors play in like Conversion Tracking it means more than freebies)

I use google analytics and stat counter. Although stats are a bit different in these two but they provides quite reliable information on traffic analysis.

I rely mainly on Google Analytics and Awstats to give the information about the site. I believe those are quite good.

No doubt surfstats is good, but he asked for free stats...Not every web startup can afford "nice to haves" when analytics works just fine in conjunction with a couple other tools.

It's not the advice part of it that I dont like PinkBunny it's the way you come across, the attitude. You dont need such an ass when you reply to people. As far as helping me that's completly up to you. I'm a grown man and I didn't ask for any attitude from anyone. I am a very nice guy and can get along with anyone as long as they try to do the same. By the way thanks to all that has offered help. It is really appreciated.
