Price for SEO
What do you think reasonable price for quality SEO?
Many people think that $5000/month is a lot, but my opinion is... make profitable websites and it will be nothing for you to share with SEO company for quality services.

I think you get what you pay for. It has long been the case as well. We used to charge a client between $10-14k per month depending on the work we were doing for them. They get our time and expertise, so it's valuable to them.
We have had them for over 4 years now and they are bringing in online sales of over $500,000 per month.
They also spend over $50k a month on AdWords which we managed for them.
For them, it's a small price to pay. It's all about ROI.

It depends on who is buying it. Large corporations with million dollar marketing budgets would not bat an eyelid at $10,000 per month.
A small 2 person business might not be willing to spend $500 per month on something like SEO.

I personally think that this is a throw-away of money, SEO is easy to learn and easy to maintain, even hiring a SEO specialist for your company is a lot cheaper than outsourcing.

Prices depends on how effective a particular SEO service is...
If a SEO company have proven its worth and their clients are quite satisfied...
I guess that's the time to dictate an appropriate price...

It all depends on the clients and what you're doing for them. I believe the price of SEO should be performance-based, and tied directly into the clients ROI.

I think it depends on how the SEO present his/her talent/skill to the client/company before deciding the right price.
