Using a person's Name as a Keyword..

There is someone that I am going (try) to help improve the SEO of their website. If you search for his site with a key phrase, it’s no where to be found. However, if you plug his ‘name’ into Google, it comes up with over 1000 entries, all related to himself, and the market he is in which is Music. What’s the best way to use his name for a SEO advantage?

Not so much his name coming up - its where it comes up - and what's there when they go to it - example: - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=jared+martinez

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...ez&btnG=Search

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...EF&btnG=Search

http://search.live.com/results.aspx?...c=IE-SearchBox

http://search.live.com/results.aspx?...ief&FORM=RCRE3

If the name is branded you can use it, if it's not - good luck.
(jared wanted the middle initial used, (to make sure the correct person came up) I told him to let the other guys worry about the middle initial, he is the real thing - he is what we sold - not just some product). ....... he's branded.....let them worry about middle initials

Sounds like your friend needs to work on seo more - also if you're going to brand that name make sure it comes up and goes to pages you want it to.

You have to do a lot of work to brand someone on the net, before the name becomes useful.

Thx, I gotcha. This guy I am helping has his work cut out for him. I have already informed him of your 'Content Credo' so it's time to hit the grindstone.
