Reciprocal Links Help Please?

Hello There,

What are peoples opinions on where you should place Reciprocal Links? Should you have a dedicated page, or would this be detrimental to your SEO efforts, some advice would be useful as I want to start link building but have no budget and I think to start off with Reciprocal Links sounds like a good idea. How do others do it, should they be dotted around the site?

If you have a particular page for LE, then it would be easy to manage link exchanging.

I agree a page dedicated to this makes it easier to manage, but how does this fit into the sites design? Is it wrong to hide this links page by providing no nav link to the page, my users will get no no benefit from seeing a page full of links?

using no nav link to your resource/LE page would make your link exchange partners disappointed... you don't want them doing that to your link would you?

I agree gemini262 but I have never seen an LE page and I don't know how to present this as a page on my site does any one have any examples of LE pages?

make it as a directory not as "Link exchange" and don't use too many LE

Maybe you can have a "Special Links" or "Related Links" or something along that line. I saw a link site similar to that in a Thailand information website, but can't for the life of me remember exactly what it said. I'll try and look it up for you.

I would call it Partners instead, or just Links. But do not use too many links there, imagine you have tons of people that require you to link, are you a link farm or a good-looking site with nice content that wants to progress?
