- Good link placement
- PR wouldn't be that important.. (much better if it has a good PR)
- Quality and related site..
- ABC Link trade preferred...
- Link placement should be indexed in SE's...

Getting backlinks and link popularity...

LE is still recognized by SEs and still has impact on rankings due to backlinks build-up...

SEO Mistake if linkexchange to unrelated sites and excessive link exchanging. Google don't tell us how many will be the llimit but we must prevent excessive LE as much as possible...

I think exchanging links still have some value if its done at a minimal number and with a relevant site, probably 3 way!
