good design means nothing if the content is meaningless.. i'd rather link with an ugly design but has a very meaningful content

Ugly in terms of design but good in content, nothing to be confused of to begin with IMO

I think my bounce rate on the site is quick if it is hard to read, color of screen is annoying or full of 30 highlighted key words, or takes to long to load. Not sure I ever thought of them as ugly just not in touch with being user friendly.

I couldn't consider it ugly even the appearance of the site doesn't fit my taste as long as it is relevant and related to my site surely I will link to them...
