Do you mean ugly when it comes to designs? Its okay though. as long as related to my site and my visitors will get benefited to their content. one thing more, I hope that all the navigations and loading of every pages of that site works fine. Then that's good enough for me..

design doesn't matter if you are linking to other sites, the only thing that matter is the relevancy of the sites and how good is the contents.after all looks can be deceiving right...?

Well, the term "ugly" is not easy to define. A minimalistic style blog for example may be considered ugly for some while it's attractive to others..
Perhaps when it comes to that field consider if the site is loading fast enough and it's content is good. Design may be improved in the future or actually some people may like it.

Ugly is whatever you make of it. I take it to mean either sites that are hard on the eyes or that are comprised of cluttered, difficult to read content.
As a surfer, if I have to highlight text to read it because someone used dark blue font on a black background, I usually just blow the site off.
Linking to good content is another matter entirely. I only have to read it once or twice.

Yes, I will. It's not the design that is important to me but the content especially if it is related to my site.

Search Engines doesn't see the physical side of the site so as long as the content is good and its not a dirty site then I'd go.
