Here are some ways to get .edu backlinks for your site.

"Your keyword" "powered by wordpress" site:.edu
"Your keyword " "powered by vBulletin" site:.edu
"Your keyword" "powered by wordpress" site:.edu
"Your keyword " "powered by vBulletin" site:.edu

Some people said that .Edu sites etc, is only a myth... is it???

I don't understand this at all but I would like to know how to find out about my (and my competitors) .edu links.

Can you explain whether this is something you would search on and in which engine etc?

.edu sites are said to be authority sites because these domains are hard to get and they are usually trusted domains.
