The keyword and the density of keyword might affect the SERP also

It is better not to add a universal meta description for a website. Add meta description for individual page .. as you add a title to each page .. else Google Bot will give warnings

As in case of wordpress ? Don't put meta description .. or make meta description = first 140 characters of text .. or add a custom filed meta description to the table in DB

I think the domain really helped alot this time... PR is only a ranking from google and it doesn't really give much effect. There are some sites that have high PR but they don't really rank well, they just have strong backlinks. Yes you may say that backlinks are also important on rankings but look at the site's content??? It seems to be updated regularly... It's not just the link, its also about the freshness of content. Most people wants to get PR so that they can give impressions to other webmaster and its also self fulfilling because your site is ranked.
