it all depends on how you gather backlinks to your site. whether you choose quantity over quality or vice versa...as obvious as it looks, quality is the right choice to deal with.

Just keep on building links regularly especially to sites with high PR and with relation to yours. Obtaining a high PR doesn't come in an instant, you have to work for it. If you're doing the right SEO thing then PR would just comes in

PR is also important and even it affects site indirectly we can't deny that if ever we want to exchange links a High PR is one of the criteria. Producing them will not come as fast as a lightning but how high can you get? The quality of all your links and content will be at hand. The application of all you learn about SEO will be tested in getting sales, SERP, and high PR. I hope this may help...

To get high pagerank nowadays, it really hard. The timing of domain name , number of links, quality of links, trust source also important.

Your best opt at increasing you PR on your pages is to work on improving its content. Unique, useful and relevant content in your niche! Once other sites sees value in it and link to your site naturally - that's when you will get the much neede PR juice.

PR update is uncertain but typically it was once every three months and some times its even one month.

To get good pagerank you should have interesting matter which should be constantly updated .Try to get more links for your site .This is time after which one may get good pageranks .
