How to find .gov and .edu sites

Links from .gov and .edu sites are considered valuable by many webmasters. So how you find them?

Its actually very simple to find all the .gov or .edu sites. On Google/Yahoo you can type site:.gov and you will get the list of .gov sites.

If you type site:.gov blog you will get all the .gov blogs.

Here is an example that gives .gov sites http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q...ov&btnG=Search

You can find the .edu sites similar ways.

I don't think that domain extension helps for SEO. It's just a myth.

I think it does help to get links from .gov and .edu... I believe that as a general rule the links that are tough to get are the most valuable ones.

.gov and .edu links are hard to get; with some exceptions. Thats why search engines value them. Link buildings are good any ways

Links from gov and edu sites really worth, but the search query you have given, is not worth. It just displays the gov sites, how do you get link from gov sites, unless or otherwise they provide a resource page.
