Hi Guys Is any ways to optimize Dynamic website ?

Guys I have client who's website is dynamic but site is huge more than 50 pages are .. but he is not able to come up very well in Google and MSN. The problem is he is using User control for every page and updating the link and if session is not create it will redirect page to Index. I told him to fix it but he wants user control be used as it will help in coding and adding multiple pages. If we create session every time it will connect to Database which will lead to lower performance of website.

SO now tell me how can we make it look like static and crawled by Google so as too make its visible and come up in SE's ...

What is "User control " ? I don't think I have heard of it.

Good navigation, titles and interlinked pages are a must for SEO.

Check to see how much of his page is being indexed. Is it just the home page (site:www.mysite.com)?

I wouldn't necessarily say that a user control is going to cause the spiders not to deep index. But, then I'd have to look at how it's being created. There are tons of sites that rank well that are "dynamic" database driven sites. No reason why your friends site couldn't do the same.

As far as I know, and if John could elaborate that would be great. First, there is a script out there somewhere where you can re-write URL's.

Second, Make a static site map for the keywords you want to be found for.

Third, Make static pages of the pages you want to rank for (with content, meta, etc.).

I hope this leads you in the right direction.

I might have an opportunity to work on a Coldfusion site and I've got the same questions.

John any advice? I've only been doing SEO for 6 months so I'm obviously not 100% on this, but it seems the right thing to do.

I would day do not worry about dynamic url. If you can do it easily using url rewriting method go for it, otherwise leave it alone. I have site with dynamic url rank top 5 for very competitive keywords. I would suggest working on on-page optimization, link building... That will get you the rank.

Well...if you have dynami pages then its better to chng dynamic URL of webpages to Static URLs by using URL Rewriting Tools.......
