so.ray2000 is liked by many
Top Ranking in Google but Not on yahoo!
Hi,I rank high on google for some of my core keywords, but i am nowhere in it for yahoo at all. What issue might be related to this? Belows are my hypothesis,

1. it is because spammy sites link to my website, so I've got blocked from yahoo.

2. Cloaking / lifting copy?

3. Duplicate contents?

4. All of these

5. None of these

What would be the best possible answers to this?

That's pretty different, I usually see it Yahoo ranking better than Google.

What I'm curious about is why you would ask about cloaking or other things?

Don't worry about Yahoo.........concentrate on Google and eventually yahoo will fall in line.

Although I found that when I got over 2,000 backlinks to my site, was when Yahoo started to take my site seriously.

And, since only 1 out of 6 searches in my area are from yahoo, there's no point in worrying about Yahoo SERP's.

Just want to share to you the same thing: My site are top in MSN, somewhere in Yahoo, buy not in Goggle. Im now sure, but i think it is somehow on what website we are linking at the different SE... e.g. in Google, we links mostly in strong websites, few in yahoo, least on MSN. This is just a theory... Im not sure also about this.

Both are having different algo.

One of my website, which is coming on Billions of competition in Google on 1st spot that is not coming in top ten pages in yahoo.

Both treat the competition in different manner.

agree with Temyong, I have the same situation before but now I can find my kws listed in yahoo.

For me, when I optimize my site for google on my keywords, some my keywords in yahoo also went up!

slight differences? maybe yes

or there are some differences with their ranking factors and algorithm resulting to a unique sets of results..

I think they have their similarities and differences on how they rank sites so just make sure to play safe with both google and yahoo.
