Ranking top in Google but not Yahoo
Hello Friends,

I had optimized my site Royal Rickshaw, a fashion related website, where all keywords are in 1st page in Google and in Yahoo. But three keywords like fashion Dubai, Dubai fashion, fashion in Dubai are in 1st page in Google but still no listing in Yahoo. Now just before I had changed Meta tag again.

Can anyone tell me what’s the exact reason, where all other keywords are present in Yahoo and Google in 1st page, why not these 3.

You have used the keyword "Fashion Dubai" in many page title. This would confuse the SE which is imp for the kw. DO give unique keywords in related pages.

yes this is right, distribute your keywords onto appropriate pages of your site.

Yahoo places much more emphasis than Google when it comes to on-page factors. The advice above is correct. Also, I've noticed a larger emphasis is placed on the types of pages your links pointing to your site come from.

I really think that you're site won't do well in Yahoo because I can't see texts on your page except for the navigation plus it is made of FLASH(Much harder to optimize than html)...
I've also noticed that you have ranked most of your keywords using your title tag and meta's...
Depending on your title tag and meta's alone won't get the job done...

Yup it's a bit hard handling a flash site but when it comes to flash site, more off-page optimization is needed!

it's really hard to be in yahoo especially with that kind of site, better work more on off page optimization or link building.

Interestingly enough, I crush my competition on Yahoo but am only on par on Google.

Same here, I do much better on Yahoo. I don't think ranking better on Google is anything to complain about in my opinion.

Google and Yahoo are using different algorithm. It doesn't mean that if you rank well in google you have also a decent rank in yahoo.

I agree with Dark Eye.. Its not always doing good on both yahoo and google.
You need a lot more link building and site optimization for your site
