Google uses an algorithm to determine a page’s rank, the pages are ranked from 1 to 10. It would be better if the higher the page is rank. Authority sites are sites with a PR7 and above and a back link from them will send Google’s spider to your page on a regular basis.
A few ways to get back link to your site such as emailing a request to the Webmaster for a link exchange. If accept, you would place a link to their site on your page.
