I have heard of her name many times in the past... most of the other ebook type things or courses I have bought have not impressed me all that much. I did recently attend a perry marshall webinar and that was good stuff, but he mostly does adwords stuff.

I listened to a set of Robin Nobles tapes a couple of years ago......zzzzzzzzzz......didn't teach me anything new either.

I'll be very surprised if any SEOs are actually going to start expressly detailing every trick, tip and method that works for them. That's empowering the competition in an already competitive field - where's the sense in that?? In which case I'd expect almost anything taught on SEO - whether training courses or books - to cover mainly on-page SEO, directory issues - and lots and lots of pep-talk which serves no other purpose that to make the consumer feel that perhaps they haven't entirely wasted their money. No offence intended to anyone, but I just don't see anyone revealling trade secrets. Well, excepting John Scott every now and then (but I doubt anyone really takes him up on his info).

I might be crazy, but I do not think there are a flat out ton of secrets. I also would rather do consultation, write books, and play on my own sites than perform SEO for other people. Doing SEO is a really boring and repetitive job. It may be exciting at first, but after you get a few good rankings it gets boring.

I do not have enough greed in me to create profit monger sites that promote things I do not really believe in, though I do hope to eventually list at #1 for the word "depression" (about 1.5 yrs out...still need to make that site).

Just for the hell of it I am trying to do well for "weight loss" right now. Even if it only makes me more aware of my diet then it is worth it, but I bet I will be able to get a good ranking for that too.

If you can create good enough ideas then you do not really even need to know much about SEO to do well on the web. My goal is to learn how to create really good ideas. SEO is just how I kinda got into the web.

read up on the basics, then look at forums, and do your own testing too. that'll be more valuable than any ebook.
