Try to manage on your key words, having too many keywords to optimize is time consuming, try to monitor your submission for your keywords to avoid confusion

it's just a matter of how you do it. and what technique you'll use... the other site i'm promoting has 80+ keywords. i can't really promote them all but try to promote the ones that will generate good result.

Intelligent choice and decisions is a must. Weight everything according to your research and experience in choosing the most prioritize KWs.

I also target the easy ones first and also those geo-specific keywords because they are easier and have better conversion ratio but the traffic is low.

I just completed a website were we targeted 4 keyword phrases per page and the site has 25 pages. It was very easy to manage.

I will say optimise your website with 3 keywords per page.

And start submit articles with that keywords and in the author box link your anchor text with that keywords.

Just target and focus on few keywords, search engines will do the rest and will display your site in many keywords variations in pages result.
