Which are stronger backlinks?
Which are stronger backlinks? Which will produce greater results in SERP for the same keyword phrase? All blogs and forums have the same page rank pr5 and all the same relative content. (Hybrid Toyota motors)

Why don't we test it and find out for sure!
A little empirical data wouldn't hurt in this swamp of opinion.

hhhmmm, I think i'll bet on forums. Because on some blogs they tend to make the comments no follow and so far, I had success with forum postings although I post some comments on blogs.

I voted for Blogs... I think they get more SE attention than forums, credit wise at least.

Although we all know that both are good source of backlinks, but I think backlinks from forums are more stronger than in blogs.

backlinks from forum is stronger than blog because most blogs are no follow but in forums it was visited every day.

I also vote for blogs. What I feel is that blogs get more attention from google and they also have fewer out going links than forum like v7n

My vote is for the blog (provided of course if its do follow).
Blogs are more likely to get linked to by others (provided they are good content), than individual posts - so the blog is more likely to gain strength with time.

if the blog has less outbound links in that page it will do well, also if the forum post is a sticky and less outbound links it will out run the blog comment. it is the links from that page that counts, the more the lesser the power.
That is why a featured post on a blog can do SE a big damage and is very effective to date

well, you can't really say it.
plus if you know the blog is a no follow why bother posting a comment if it won't benefit.

From forum since it is anchor text we are talking here...
By the way blog comments is considered as Darker Methods (that still work, if done in moderation)
- Comment Spam (do it manually)

There are some SE's that still value the nofollow link as backlink but don't pass the pr link juice.

My question is whether either link has any value.
Relative to anchor links what would the value of signature links be?
In my (admittedly limited) experience it is very little.
