Google is by far the best search engine at the moment, at least in my opinion, but is it really the father of all search engines? That title probably goes to one of the early 90s search engines. Not sure which ones came first, but I recall Alta Vista, Webcrawler, and Yahoo, among others as the first ones I used way before Google.

Never heard of it, not until I saw this thread. In my opinion, Google is much better especially in displaying the search result.

nice looking search engine but i really dont like the result it gives dont like the algorithm of this search engine

For the first week of cuil, a search for cuil did not have a link to cuil.com on its first page!

Yea i have already seen this search engine and really surprised to see the traffic details of it they are big guns but it's very hard to beet Google..

I just checked Cuil again and it is still working fine. I kind of like design and look. I don't think it is worse than Bing
