I rather post from related press release submission websites. Also consider if that websites have many visitors and rank good in SE. Check also if that site is popular or not. Dont waste your time in many crappy sites that dont do anything for your site. Use also top social bookmarks after you posted it.

I don't know, if you're doing PR's, it's always better to go with the high quality submission sites. I would recommend PRweb, eWorldWire, and eZineArticles because I have had the most success with them.
