Just be sure you are commenting on a Do follow blogs, I go to court's d-list of do follow blogs here http://courtneytuttle.com/blogs-that-follow/. Make a good comment and don't spam to get approve easily

one way to search for a keyword related or targeted blogs is to search using <Enter Keyword> "Remember my personal information" "Notify me of follow-up comments" and leave comments. use this for every keyword that u used in your site. This will make a quality backlinks to your site.

Yup, it's that simple! Do it on Do-follow blogs then off you go...relevancy helps quite a bit as well.
