Exclamation How to grab the data in a column of a given row without query back to sql? Need HELP

How do i write a code that will do the following. I really only need the part of the code explained in the title, i can write the rest of the code. Here is the logic.

1. rand(0, 800) will generate a number between 0 and 800 which represent the id of a row in a sql data table.

2. Now, it needs to grab the data in the 'name' column of that row. (without connecting back mysql. All data in the table is already stored in $table_set

3. It checks if that name == michael, bobby, etc..

4. If not, by using loop it randoms another id.

step 2 is what i'm really having trouble on. the data table is already stored in $table_set so i don't want to waste any extra bandwidth. Otherwise, i can make a query with "WHERE name = micha.... etc."
