How do I add a total count for Facebook likes

Hello,

I have a Facebook like button on my homepage and some individual pages. My code is:

<script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"></script>
<fb:like href="http://www.mydomain.com<?=$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']?>" layout="button_count" show_faces="false" width="100" action="like" font="arial"></fb:like>

However, the total count is different from homepage and individual pages. So, how do I add a total count to make it more attractive (I mean bigger number).

For example, homepage has 10 likes, individual pages have 10, can I add them up to make it 20 likes that show on everywhere of my site?

Thanks.

I'm going to move this to the coding section for now.

Does this page help you out in the meantime?

I also don't believe that is possible with the facebook api. I have not seen any mechanism or interface within the fb api that allows the aggregation of counts across pages to be displayed in the fb like count. I believe it only shows the count for the page referenced in the href.

As noted on the referenced page:
href - the URL to like. The XFBML version defaults to the current page.

I think its not possible.
You can only do this if you an add this likes value to a specific div and little bit java script I think.

there is no way to add different pages likes at one place, though there are some fake scripts available with which you can add the likes at your own..

Can't you just generate a new "Facebook Social Plugin" for your website? I know at least one of those includes that number!
