How to earn money from a low traffic website.

I have some sites that get $80-$85 per 1000 visitors via Amazon but they target buyer intent keywords. On the flipside I have one that gets $4-$5 per 1000 visitors based around adsense.

There are only two ways of making money.

1. Sell cheap to lots of people.
2. Sell dear to a few people.

As your site is only getting a few visitors, it is unlikely you will ever make much money from the small amount of money you will get when they click on the ads that take them away from your site.

If all you want to make is peanuts, that's fine, but if you want to make more than peanuts then you are only left with the second option.

Use your site for something that costs you little but which you can sell for a lot. Things like software you (or a friend) have created, or information that people need and can't live without, or by creating a website that offers an online service of some kind.

I got adsense approval for a low traffic website. The quality of the website is more important. Just keep in mind that it's gonna make a couple of dollars in a month at most for that kind of traffic.
