Search Engine Land mistakenly removed from Google Index

Woke up to some excitement in the SEO world this am.
Quote:
Google's system misidentified our site as being hacked and thus was removed from the Google index for a period of time this morning. Google has reversed this and our site should return to Google's search results shortly.

Now they know what it feels like to be mistakenly taken down from the search index like so many others have in the past. I am so glad I'm not into "search" any more, and don't depend on Google for traffic or business.

Most SEOs Think Google Shouldn't Delist A Hacked Site

And the survey says:
Quote:
The question was "Should Google completely remove websites that it suspects are hacked/serving malware?"

36% said Yes, remove the website
64% said No, a warning is enough
