Pinterest and Twitter are both indexed by Google. It depends on your target audience whether that fact is of any value.

As far as link juice goes... neither is any better. Are you using either of these sites to market your site with quality content or just using them casually to post what ever?

Try to make quality content first, then people will automatically engage your content. Getting Pinterest Repins and Twitter retweets are awesome. You can drive traffic from both sites and always keep on your niche.
Try to get niche related followers all time

Pinterest and Twitter for just getting the backlinks? It's all about increasing the website traffic by sharing your right and powerful content to your audience.

I think using pinterest and twitter depends on the kind of strategy you want to employ for backlinks.

Both are nofollow links. They will not help much in rankings but could get you traffic.

lmao!!! You do realize those trying to answer your question - CAN'T! Only the search engines know how much link juice is given to any link. As for the "nofollow" argument - these people obviously do not understand marketing or SEO at all.

With that said - these are not sites for SEO - they are social media sites for traffic.
