Is this backlink from edu url safe?

Hi,

I have found an edu backlink while i was checking my competitor's website links. The page looks like accepting comments automatically and it is full of links.

So, should i put my link there, would you put yours?

blog aku edu tr/dundar/dersler/

if it is full of links, no, I would look for and edu site that is not full of links, kind of like everyone likes bathrooms with walls and less people. Google is not assigning a lot of power to something full of links

Each link takes some of the rank of that page. I also think over so many links google des not even count it. I would also make sure it has good links not sites that you do not want to be listed with otherwise known as ad neighbors or bad links.

You said "bad link" and i noticed something. If google counts some links for bad then it would be possible to hurt some other sites with building bad links to them. It does not seem fair to be able to hurt some other website.

Building bad links will hurt the rankings of that website...

Don't try to create bad links for your website even links come from education, gov domain other wise your SERP will go back. To get top position in SERP try to build quality links with high domain authority websites.

before 2 or 3 years ago .edu link and .org link counted as power back links higher authority back links and helpful for every one, but after some new updates these links are count as normal back links. And helpful only in case of related website for example if you have educational website then .edu back link is more helpful.

There were always counted a normal backlinks. It's false information like this that has turned their unmoderated areas into spam fest areas.

.edu backlinks are very good for your SEO results, but be careful not to place your link in a linking farm ...

The full of link page is consider spam by Google, Other thing is auto approved comment blog is always risky because that type of blog quality is cheap.

If it's full of links, means it's just passing so little value to everyone. I've always thought of .gov and .edu links are a plus but not always. I would trade a .edu link for a .com site with good quality and is relevant to my site.

It doesn't matter whether its edu or com website. thing that matters is that it should pass the juice.

the key to an edu link is that the link has to appear organically, which indicates to google that it is informational, if it is not organic in an article then it is low value

If your competitor is doing it to rank his site, then yes it obviously works.

That being said, that doesn't mean that sometime in the future you won't get penalized for it.

Backlinks from edu sites are considered to be "authority links" because only a school can get a .edu

So the idea is that you are getting a "vote" from a high quality, authority website by getting a .edu link

Google prefers link diversity, Just consider what is the current authority rank of the Domain you are linking to.
