Currently I am listening to "Born To Be Wild" which is from the rock band Steppenwolf. The song is form their 1983 hit album Steppenwolf: All Time Greatest Hits

Listening to the sound of my central air conditioner in this heat-wave, and the sound of the dollars bills being sucked right out of my bank account to pay for the electrical bill. It's been on since 9am, and will likely run almost all day.

LOL.
I don't think my upstairs unit turned off all day yesterday. Like you it turned on @ about 9 and ran constantly until about 2 AM and that was with a set point of 76F.

I think the AC ran until 10pm, which is the programmed time it would normally shut off. I had to turn it back on again as it was too hot on the second floor for sleeping. I think, like yours, it ran until sometime early in the morning!
We get a break from the heat for a day or two, so I don't think we'll need the AC today - thank goodness!

Man, to be honest, i'm a bit jealous of you for having such warm summer. Where are you from? I wish I could finally go to a beach, and swim, but it's to cold for this :/

I can't remember the last time we experienced 35C. And with the humidity, it felt more like 42C. It's like Africa hot!

The sound of rain, which might help to moderate my anticipated over-inflated water bill going out the beginning of next month.

At this exact moment I am listening to "Name" which is sung and performed by Goo Goo Dolls. The song is from their 1995 album called A Boy Named Goo
