Forgot about the driveway. Mine isn't in bad shape, there's just a little part down by the road/curb that is crumbling away a bit. However, it's a "builder" driveway that was installed roughly 13 years ago.

I did all appliances last year, added a big freezer to the basement as well, did a kitchen reno, redid the main floor in hardwood, a couple of big garage shelves, had the basement done also. but that's about it. And that's enough spent in 13 years.

You are right on target.

I mowed / mulced in place the leave today. Can't really say the grass needed mowing.

Just looked at the weather. Today is a great golfing day weather, but unfortunately, it's a stay at home and do stuff day.

Was hoping to golf on Monday, then take the clubs home for the winter, but the good weather that was to be on Monday, has decided to moved to Sunday. Good for turkey day I guess.

So, last game of the year yesterday.

UPDATE: Just looked ahead to next weekend's weather - there's hope! Saturday and Sunday look like possible golf days!!!

Your knees may appreciate the 'no golf'.

To you, HTML and all our friends to the North Happy Canadian Thanksgiving day.

Spent yesterday at the ER - kidney stone. I've been told the pain is similar to child birth. It's amazing that an object 4mm wide inside the human body can cause so much pain.

Thanks. Too groggy to enjoy the gravy, but I'll try.

And a Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all the Canadian members too!

I've never had the pleasure but know several guys that it brought to tears. Watched a video illustration sometime back on the subject and fully understand why. It like trying to pass a small cockle burr. Pretty apt description. That little sucker digs in and wants to stay.

When you did not post yesterday I though the gold did you in.

Hope you get to feeling better quickly.

I was not fun to be around, and after explaining the story, 4 times; first to triage, then administration, then ultrasound, then MRI and then the attending student doctor I stopped her in her tracks. I said get the ER doctor in here and now and get some meds ready!

Did I mention I was not fun to be around?

Still had another attack last night, but had some powerful meds on hand to get me through the night. Today, I'm fine, but hard to say when I'll get another attack.

If you don't see me posting, you'll know why.

This too shall pass.

Hopefully sooner rather than later.
