Cant get google to come hang out at my site

So I made a domain a couple months ago and cant get google to even recognize the name exists. I have submitted sitemaps added to blogs directories and social bookmarking. When I search in google I get results for the sites I listed it on however none that are directly from my site. the domain is "search - for . us"

Has a subdomain of "directory" which is a directory and cant even get google to go there. Is there a way to find out if a site is really blacklisted? In google tools says they came but no results ever show up. I know I have to patient but none of my site have ever taken this long I mean a 1 day old domain can show up in google.

I want to get this sorted because I would like to move the directory off the subdomain and move it to the main domain

First of all, your site has no original content. What value to its customers would google be providing even indexing your site?

Does your webmaster console list any penalties?

I think you are having some duplicate content problems.

What makes you say this? I added a 301 redirect from the subdomain to avoid this. SInce I moved the directory out of the subdomain to the main site

I am not finding any quality incoming links to your domain.

You do however have some serious issues going on though. You are redirecting from www.directory.search-for.us to www.search-for.us/directory/ which appears to be identical to www.search-for.us/ and then for your homepage link, instead of linking directly to the domain you are linking to www.search-for.us/index.php.

To top it off, every link in your sidebar points to www.search-for.us/index.php but yet in the footer you resort back to linking to www.search-for.us/

Do you not see some serious issues there?

htaccess nightmare

This was a nightmare for me to get sorted and its probably not the correct way but its working

Code:
RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^directory.search-for.us$ [OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.directory.search-for.us$ RewriteRule ^/?(.*)$ http://www.search-for.us/$1 [R=301,L] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^search-for.us$ [OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.search-for.us$ RewriteRule ^directory/?(.*)$ http://www.search-for.us/$1 [R=301,L]
Any chance someone knows how to avoid the extra step in the htaccess.

Any other problems with the site jump out at anyone? Think I got all the above ones fixed
