Just my thoughts...

So the V7N subtitle or slogan or whatever is "Web Development Community". So I was thinking that it would be a good idea to add some more forums for coding or at least the popular ones such as HTML/CSS, PHP, and Javascript.

A majority of the forums are focused around growing/marketing your current websites, but we should have more places to provide support to people that are just getting started, or for old webmasters that just need some help.

Is there something wrong with the coding forum we already have?

Problems with your code? Discuss coding issues, including JavaScript, PHP & MySQL, HTML & CSS, Flash & ActionScript, and more.

There definitely isn't anything actually wrong with it, but it just doesn't seem to have as much importance as a lot of the seo/marketing/business forums do. When in fact, without coding nobody would have their website here to begin with.

For right now the current forum is fine because not that many people here are actively using V7N for coding issues. But then again, they may not be using it as much because everything coding related is pushed into a single forum. So, it could just be that most people here are into coding as members on some other webmaster forums, or it could be that we just don't have as many coding forums as other webmaster forums.

You see what I mean

We choose to add more subforums when the posting level requires it.

Quite often the problems posted in the Coding section are intertwined with HTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and other stuff which the OP may not realize if they are a novice.

Maybe if people read: Help yourself to quickly get solutions to your coding problems. before posting (particularly the Titles section of that post) things would sort themselves out better.
