I am interested to know more about SEO, and I have talked to a lot of SEO expert about it and they always educate me with its tough technicalities. I only have a few basic questions and I hope that some of you could answer it in a lucid manner so I would be able to understand it better.

3. What is the main purpose of using keyword in SEO?

I think SEO has only one type. The aim of SEO is ranking for some keywords that have large volume. In which you have to use many different methods to build backlink.

- off page (external links)

Keywords serve as a signal to Google and other Search Engines as to what's important. But remember the days of keyword stuffing are over.

1. on- and off page. And within these there are several keypoints which were answered already.

2. crosslinking is a method to help rank bad/worse performing pages (or just new ones). Let's say you have a good performing page and write a new blog post. If you then link from the new good perfoming page to the new post that would be considered crosslinking.

3. Search engines work by using keywords. SO what ever is typed into the search box gets dissected into keywords in order to somehow structure content on the internet.
A big part in SEO is optimzing for a certain keyword rather than calling a blogpost a twolined question
