I'd upload some but my BlackBerry doesn't exactly produce the high-res shots that people are most-likely expecting lol.

Our digital photography section is about sharing. No one is going to grade your images. Sharp images are always best, but if you have captured something you would like to share, please do so.

Most of the stuff I provide is done with a phone camara. If they dont laugh at mine youre pretty safe.

One of these days I gotta get a real camera thats worth a darn (or at least a better phone).

Some I took a while back for my photography class. This is me starting out as a photographer, hopefully one day I'll have some proper equipment. I just don't see why and how people can spend like 500 on cameras lol. All are original (unedited).

Do you know the name of the shrub in the first one? The foliage looks familiar but I have never seen that bloom. Good quality. I did not realize phone cams were that good.

That's because that's they're not from my BlackBerry , I forgot to say that these were taken a while ago with my brother's digital camera.

Also, I'm not aware of the name of the plant in the first one. Not really much of a gardener lol. I was just tryna take one of them shots where the foreground is in focus and the background is blurred but it did the opposite but still looks quite good.

Pretty nice shots their, may i say, a little foreground interest in the wide shots would pick them up to another level.

abhiamke, If photography is art or not is a huge debate, one that will never end. If you want you photography to be taken as art then it is up to you as the artist to produce work that is art.

IHMO whilst going to photography class with teach you the technical basics and how to work to a brief the real teaching, that which is of your personal style and favored techniques, needs to come from practice.
