Where can I build backlinks with anchor text? I do blog commenting but I don't type an anchor text because it will most likely get deleted. Obviously I use anchor texts in the forums I belong to but where else could I find a place that accepts them?

You are doing exactly what you should be doing on Blogs, use your name. It is just as important to brand your name to Google as it is to get backlinks.

There are many ways to build backlinks to your website without spamming. You can post quality articles on syndication sites, you could use social media websites, create an account participate on places such as blogger, livejournal, and other similar social sites.

This is just a few ideas, there are many other ways to create backlinks.

Yes I agree! Using the same anchor tag for keyword back links may cause you penalty for those keywords,

Then how do you get rankings for your keywords if you are only building 1 link per 1 keyword ??

Eventually you will run out of keywords to use

Like all else, Diversify

In my experience, especially more recently, it has been much more effective to diversify your anchor text. I'd be careful when using any sort of automatic submission tool, unless it has the ability to give you multiple options for creating your anchor text in whatever you are submitting to.

Just as you would not use one single method for promoting your site, the serps recognize habits and do not care for repetition. I try to think about this in any web promotion effort I use.

Yes Google has been updated that repeated Anchor text in same page will not be counted as back link.

IDk, after all these updates... I'd rather copy the Wikipedia profile or any other trusted site. I believe that anchors re still ok, but the poor donors...

SEO is the art of ranking your posts highly in search engines for targeted keywords. Backlinks are considered as a vote from a website to your content in Google’s eyes and they help rank you rank higher for targeted keywords. Building backlinks with the targeted keywords as your anchor text is the best way to ensure that your posts rank highly in search engine result pages.

In theory this is true but if your content you are linking to using that anchor text is of "poor quality" then those backlinks are not going to matter very much.

The natural way people would like to your site is by using your brand-name such as:
http //www yoursite com (you get the idea)
yoursite(dot)com
Your Site
Your Site + money-keyword (don't need many of these)

Keep it natural and think about how people normally would link to your site and you will be fine. Focus on building your brand.

If you have an EMD you will be much safer since it's both your brand and money keyword.
Wow I need this answer, just finished editing my first post in my new blog by the way and I followed this Thanks

To avoid any penalties from Google you should keep a excel sheet of all your keywords and which websites you use with each keyword.
