Short domain name that is catchy or long domain name that contains words?

Which of the following would be a better option for a social network: a relatively short domain name composed of two syllables that is catchy, but doesn't have any meaning in the dictionary (e.g.: comfof.com), or a longer domain name composed of actual words that have meaning (e.g. communityforfriends.com)?

If you were to start a site, would you go for a short and meaningless domain name or for a long domain name that contains words?
