it depend with your needs. If you need more powerful specifications, good for you to use dedicated. If you need dedicated server in india, I recommend asphostportal. I have been amazed by this great company. Every single query is handled quickly efficiently, knowledgeably, and helpfully. It is very rare to find such excellent service. even their price is cheap.

Never go with Godaddy dedicated servers, their service is very bad and the customer care is horrible.

I would recommend Hostgator dedicated server, their customer service is really good and i personally using the same and has recommended to my clients. They are all satisfied with hostgator.

Other alternate option is to go with Bluehost as it really has a good reputation.

Yes, both are really good. Can you give more details on how much traffic are you expecting? Based on that we can provide you more information.

If there is huge traffic then I would suggest you to use RackSpace kind of hosting.

Also, what is your website software that you are running?

Example... Is it WordPress or another piece of software. This will help us in recommending the best host for your type of traffic and website software.

Ya, that's not what I've heard/read on the internet. Looks like someone is posting for count.

Go with a WordPress blog for sure. You'll love it. If you have any questions relating to WordPress, start a thread in the blogging section if your answer is not in there already.
