Gremlins and goblins

Are the gremlins and goblins coming to your door tonight?

They won't be here due to a severe weather advisory which so far is a bust. Halloween was moved to November 1.

I think the mall next door has something for the kids today. We have never gotten any goblins knocking on our door.

We use to get 100+ kids when I was a kid.

I work 2nd shift so if they did come knocking, no one was there. lol

My parents sent me pictures of my niece and nephew with a big bag of candy that my brother and his wife are digging into right now while the kids sleeping.

When I was a kid and in my early 20s I LOVED Halloween. But now, in my 30's it's just a hassle. I hate getting a costume, and find myself annoyed by the constant knocking on my door begging for candy. I'm sure my views will change when I have kids, I wouldn't want to take that experience away from them. But for now I just turn off the porch light and put a sign on the door for the brave few who still want to knock that says "Sorry, no candy this year." Call me grinch.
