Well, the content makes sense...but here are few additional reasons:

- when you write it by yourself, you are sure that you are making a unique content, which is necessary for online reputation (outsourcing writing tasks can force you to do the moderation, making sure that the content written by your outsourced worker passed your quality standard).

- if there is someone who knows the nature of your business better -it's you. You are the one who can put the message across, without facts ruined.

Content will always serve as basis for search engines. The latest Google algorithm updates will force you to produce real content. Gone is the heyday of link farming, keyword stuffing and badly spun articles.

I think writing your own content helps you in more than one way. The best thing about this is the recognition you get from those who read your content.

that is true if you are specialist in content area
morover, if you own few different websites, sometimes it's better to hire professional for writing on full time in office
but anyway she right - your voice - your style is a brand and this is marketing

Good content is the main important role in SEO.
Content is king in SEO. With content no optimization will be function. Guest Blog posting is one of the new process lunched after Google Panda released. Most of the guest bloggers posting the same content in different websites. Can this process down my website rank?

Write Own content is a good idea. It is more beneficial if you have talent and writing skills.
Another reason is that you know better than anybody about your content topics.

Personally I don't see why people copy content. I find that content writing is one of the most exciting, challenging and entertaining parts of my job. I've always loved writing, that's why I studied Creative Writing at university, and if someone asks me what I do I'll always say content writer first as opposed to SEO.

Everyone should embrace content writing. Even if you feel you're not that good at it. Practice, get friends to read through it, get colleagues to read through it, create a blog, try to guest blog etc. There's nothing more satisfying then posting a good piece of content and seeing it well received by the online community. But then again that's just me.

Believe it or not, I only do content marketing for my site then share these content in SMM. I only do guest posting and my traffic has been stable.

Oh my! Aren't we writers cruel.

Not everyone is comfortable writing their own content. Some people find the process down right painful. So we tell them that they should do it themselves, anyway (even though they know they can't, or don't want to)?

Then we tell them that paying someone else to do it will damage their profit?


Is there any chance that Muhtar Kent, the CEO of Coca Cola, writes his own content?

Larry Page certainly didn't write the last Google article I read.

Mark Zuckenberg has his own blog, but I don't think that attributed to the success of FaceBook (in this case, the blog came after the success).


Writing your own content, if you are a competent writer, will save you money and it is a lot easier to make sure you get the focus and quality you want when you do it yourself. It is really silly though, to claim that it will definitely be better content, even when you are not a very strong writer.

If you are going to hire out, do some research and find a provider that you feel comfortable with being your voice. You want to develop a long term relationship with them; don't worry, so do they.

Don't be afraid to be highly involved with the process. You can offer keywords, titles, even outlines or briefs. Don't be afraid to trust your provider either. If you have no idea what kind of content to provide, maybe he or she can offer suggestions. After all, a professional writer knows writing, right?
